Ashley is a recent Syracuse University graduate where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management, focusing on Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

Originally from Brooklyn, Ashley is a first-generation Dominican American with a passion for public relations, marketing, fashion, and creative communications. Through her academic and professional experiences, she has developed a creative and detail-oriented approach to storytelling and connecting with others. She is excited to bring her perspective and creativity to The Coda and The Mayflower while getting to know and contribute to the community. Outside of work and school, Ashley enjoys staying active, exploring fashion and beauty, and spending time with family and friends.

Isabella Guido

Bella is a third-year student at Syracuse University’s School of Architecture, on a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture track while pursuing a minor in Sustainability in Design. With a background in architectural design and previous internship experience at an architecture firm, she is interested in the relationship between design, building performance, and user experience. Through her internship, Bella is excited to expand her understanding of building operations and learn more about the systems that support efficient, functional, and successful spaces.

Janpaul Portal

Janpaul “JP”, is a Syracuse University student studying economics with a minor in AI in Business Applications. Through his experience in customer service and sales at Nordstrom, as well as his internship with Greenlight Financial, he has developed strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. These experiences have taught him how to understand people’s needs, adapt to different situations, and provide a high level of service.

As both a resident and a member of The Coda team, JP understands that a great living experience involves more than providing an apartment—it means creating a place where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and connected. Drawing from my Cuban-American roots and Miami upbringing, he aima to bring warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality to every interaction with current and future residents.

JP is ambitious, people-oriented, and passionate about building meaningful relationships. In his role at The Coda, he hopes to strengthen our sense of community, represent the property professionally, and help ensure that each resident has a positive and memorable experience.

Outside of work and school, JP enjoy’s basketball, movies, music, grilling, art, and traveling. He looks forward to contributing his personality, experience, and work ethic to The Coda community.

Lucy Griffiths

Lucy is a third-year student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, majoring in Public Relations with minors in Writing and Creator Economy. Originally from Arlington, VA, Lucy enjoys working out, trying new coffee shops, and going to concerts. As an intern at The Coda and Mayflower, Lucy is excited to use her content creation experience to contribute to The Coda’s social media accounts, help plan fun events that build resident community, and assist with day-to-day operations.
